As someone who suffered severe back pain for several years, I tried plenty of methods, including sleeping on firm beds or on covered floors. It didn’t solve my back pain at all. For me, what eventually worked was the combination of chiropractic treatment, yoga, and a TempurPedic mattress. I bought my first and last TempurPedic mattress in 2002 to replace my then almost new Stearn and Foster firm mattress. I was told the TempurPedic mattress would last about ten years. That’s what their warranty covers. 18 years later, it still works as new, no sagging whatsoever. The back pain relief comment is on mattresses. This brand helps more than any other brand for back pain, at least for me. The only problem I have is they are temperature sensitive, in winter when room temp is high, make it much softer.
