I think the idea is fine. This mini is too big. If they can shave the bottom where the gopro logo is, it would be better. And also replacable battery.

That's so true. Check about Insta360 go 2. Only a fraction of the weight of this one, makes it so much more useful as a hat cam. //@anonymous: GoPro mini was a failure for GoPro. Battery is 1500mAh so it will probably last a few hours at least. But beware of degradation since this battery cannot be replaced. If you use it under extreme conditions, the battery will degrade faster.

Per YouTube reviews. The biggest downside of this camera is the lack of screen.if you can live with that then it is a good deal. Many Vbloggers require screen based on my knowledge.

I have an older white version. Apparently this mini does not have a screen, so you have to use the app to make it work. I think you have to pay a subscription for the app. //@Anonymous: Is this a good deal?
