Recently got similar experience with Visible/Verizon. They flagged one account with spamming, and suspended it permanently. The account was for my middle schooler who had a lot of group messages with teachers and classmates. They counted both sending and receiving. It is not a big deal for teenagers to lose a phone number but I am about to leave Visible anyway. Their spamming detection algorithm sucks, with only ability to hurt good users but fraudsters. No clear guidelines before lockdown account //@anonymous: Don't fall for Verizon! It's no longer a respectable company. I switched to Verizon last year from T-Mobile and it was my worst decision and nightmare. They locked all my family lines after a month for so called social engineering fraud but declined to provide any detail.
