Bought a more expensive phone here a few months ago off of what would have been a great deal had they not sent a used, password-protected phone that their customer service refused to help with. Now considering Small Claims Court to recoup my money. Turns out this company has been acquired by Verizon, which explains a lot... Dealsea fans need to be extra-cautious in buying these "deals" off of Tracfone's own eBay store...

The biggest concern is, xfinity mobile service is very expensive and poor signal coverage. It tried to attract customers by giving free of charge at the very beginning, you only pay some tax, then keeps increasing. //@Anonymous: They lock your phone for 2 years, that means you won't take advantage of the dual sim capacity from the modern devices.

Xfinity mobile is only for customers with their home internet service. After you signing the contract for the mobile service with them, you have to stay with their mobile service which requires customers have home internet as well, or you will lose monthly credit. At that time, they can increase the bill for home internet.
Anonymous
The discount is given through monthly rebates, no advance payment is allowed, and no halfway leave is allowed. You must be an xfinity home internet user to join the mobile service. So, once you choose monthly payment, you have been bound to mobile plan and home internet service for at least 2 years. And its home internet service is notorious for constantly increasing prices. My home internet was $20 last year and now it is $62 1 year later.

Not necessarily, last year Samsung.com offered 1000 for a S21U towards the S22U, along with the $100-200 Samsung credit if you pre-ordered. The total cost for an S22U was about $100-200 after trade in. Currently, after credits and trading in a S22U for the S23U, the total cost is $599. That's a significant difference, but I agree, there will be better deals later on. Especially if Samsung wants to avoid a bad quarter like the recent one. //@Anonymous: Is this your first time doing trade in with Samsung? Forgot to mention that in past years, the SIM chip comes pre-installed and I'd phone Tracfone customer service and ask them to port my then-current telephone number over to the new phone. They've always done it. I'll try that again on this sale. //@Anonymous: I've bought these DealSea specials before from Tracfone via eBay. I use them until the time/data allowance is exhausted and get a tremendous bargain. Use Dealsea's link and consider the other (slightly more expensive) phones Tracfone has also put on sale. This is a steal!

I heard its speed is terrible

Had it for a couple of months and while my signal was always excellent, speeds varied greatly depending on which band you connected to. And you're not always on the same band. Speeds were pathetic at times when the towers were overloaded. Went back to Xfinity for a fast and consistent connection.

I used it for 3 months and canceled it. The speed is very bad. The interesting thing is my phone speed is OK using TMO at the same time and location.

I have the same issue, and I restart the device when this happens. Any better solutions? //@Ninehead: I tried for a few months. The speed is OK but it disconnected from time to time..

T-Mobile is using excess capacity to support home internet. This means that the priority is still for mobile devices. That's why in the same location, the phone will always perform better. Issue is: the more customers switch to T-Mobile the less reliable the home internet service will be...

AT&T is the worst out the big three, as their prices are high and they offer the least amount of incentives and value compared to the other two.

When they say everyone is eligible for these offers, they don't mean it. Those with grandfathered or non-unlimited plans don't qualify for these offers.

Also, these offers are there for some time now. These are not new. //@anonymous: When they say everyone is eligible for these offers, they don't mean it. Those with grandfathered or non-unlimited plans don't qualify for these offers.

I have calculated, unless you really need their unlimited plan, it’s wasting of money.

these days cell phones are overpriced in many cases, would not worth to spend more than 200 and spend many times on it. Just use, desktop, notebook or tablet with larger screen with/comfortable keyboard, mouse, etc.
