Mostly outdated items at Amazon store are overpriced and offered discounts at Woot but they are still expensive than market. //@anonymous: Over priced

My co-worker was annoyed that his Studio display doesn't have any kind of multi input source support. He basically has to unplug one computer and plug in another. That would be a deal breaker for me. I switch my Dell between a desktop and laptop regularly.

Over priced. Apple refuses to fix interconnectivity issues between MacBooks and 3rd part monitors so they can sell more of these.

While there is a cost aspect of it, there are not that many monitors comparable in quality to this at this price. Dell U4021QW ultrasharp is closest at a $300 cheaper ticket but its nowhere close to this quality on color gamut or brightness not to mention the lack of camera or speakers. The closest is the LG 5K ultrafine but it is of the same price as of today $1299 and its speakers are not upto sample - I have this monitor as well and I know. I am not trying to sell this monitor but slinging mud should be based on facts IMHO.

The LG 5K display is good works well with macbooks and mini and studio and pretty much all macs. wait, it costs the same as the apple studio, guess that does not work for you huh ! //@anonymous: Over priced. It's crazy small for the price, but when you're a professional photographer (on the smaller side) and try editing on an Asus ProArt monitor, the Apple Studio Display is simply the best at color representation. Get an Apple Card and pay monthly using the EDU site for the discount.

I would recommend 24 than 27 for a 1080P monitor //@Anonymous: Bestbuy has 27inch for the same price //@Anonymous: Good deal?

1080 is good for up to 24”, it’s horrible for 27” unless you never read text on the monitor. You need at least 1440 QHD on 27. //@anonymous: Bestbuy has 27inch for the same price //@Anonymous: Good deal?

$197 now

remember, FHD = Full HD = its only 1080p.
and yes for 27', highly recommend 1440 or 2160 (4K). the price wasn't much different. Go do your research for 1440. you wont regret it to upgrade to UHD (1440) instead of just stick to FHD (1080p) cuz its cheap. If you use the monitor on daily basis, invest better ones. Long usage help your eyes as well.

Regular price was $119, then $129, $134, and now $145 and call it a deal? Go back to $109 and we got a deal for HP’s lowest priced monitor.
Anonymous
MSRP is $119. The pandemic is overall. It’s a budget but flimsy monitor but definitely beat any competition at $119. However, anything >= $119 is no deal.

Don’t the connectors on these break or developed issues very easily? I have a 4TB version that doesn’t get recognized unless the cable is held at a very specific angle and pressure.

Samsung business dropping all around. Expect 1TB SSD to drop by 15% and 4TB to drop 40% by year end. External 4TBs will become be cheap as there will be push for 8TB. PC memory and SSD prices continue to fall into year because China will be banning PC memory and SSD from Korea/Japan/US due to chip war. PC chips are low-end. China can manufacture their own PC chips and only want to buy mobile and AI chips.
