Sony is smart. They raised PS5 console retail price by $50 in other countries; but in US, they raise the price by making bundles.

I know series s doesn't have a disc drive, but does anyone know if a series X can play CD discs? The reason I don't want to get a PlayStation is because it cannot read CDs, but if series x is the same then I may as well get a PS5.

Thanks. No it is not my Primary purpose. I want a next gen game console, and being able to play CDs is a nice to have feature so I don't need to buy a different (ancient CD) player separately. If you consider (I did a quick web search) that the Forbidden game is worth $70, the wireless controller another $70, the headset $100, and you are getting $100 from Sony playstore (total of $340), you could call it a deal. If you consider that Walmart is selling the PS5 Horizon Forbidden West bundle for $727 (without extra controller, headset and $100 credit, you could say it is a good deal. //@Anonymous: How this could be a deal....

This is the newer "series" version and is much better than the "one" version. It feels as sturdy as a 360 controller, and that's saying a lot. I bought one in May and it's been awesome.

After trying 6 times and saying the transaction was not completed, my credit card called me and investigated the fraud of trying to buy 5 playstations. I said it was me trying and that none went through, and then I tried again after the credit card cleared the issue and now it seems to be out of stock.
