Now, as you know, apple chips are not getting much better, partly because of lack of good engineers and the slow improvement over the 3/4nm node. So... getting M1 pro instead may be a better idea.

Previous gen M1 processors are a better value and should be more than sufficient for 70-80% of all users. If anything, Apple has bad marketing. No professional user is going to buy the MB with low specs, and no average user is going to spend $1.2K+ on it either. They should have significantly lowered the price, or not have an option with 8GB RAM/256GB storage.

1), M1 is super fast with no heat. 2), Mac is very efficient in using memory. I am a programmer converted from PC to MAC ~ 10 years ago, never look back. Of course, I bought a MacBook Pro, but I got a M1 MacBook Air for my son, he is very happy about it.

Not entirely true. When you run out of ram, which is relatively easy to do with only 8gb,the computer is forced to use swap space which is basically your ssd drive. The price was $449 after price-match and there is 5% in-store Cashback from third party Cashback website, plus credit card has 10% back up to $25 offer (chase). Combined almost $100 off. If BestBuy store do not have inventory, you can pay local and they will ship to you.

The main catch of Grado is it’s really uncomfortable… as a wireless headphone sound quality doesn’t really matter that much, comfort is king. Apple sound quality is at least better than Beats but it’s indeed overpriced.

I spent $300 on the previous version, Oculus Go. Used it after I bought it. It was very slow and got very hot if you use it for 5 mins. And 64G space gone after a few downloads.
Next time I try to use it, told me I mus switch to FB account to use it. The third time I tried to use it, it was dead (won't bootup anymore). Hardware issue. Out of warranty.
