Watts doesn’t mean speed so over twice as fast is not correct. If the device is capable of handling more Amps then higher wattage is better for faster charging. You can’t do 20W over a single USB-A port, the new Apple chargers are USB-C. These 12W Apple chargers are designed for previous model iOS devises and are very reliable but still work great for newer ones just not at charge speed capacity.
