I bought an item from adorama located in NY. Google express charged tax because they told me they physically bought it from adomora store then shipped it to me. LOL, really????

Because you’re not buying from adorama directly. Google being a california based has to obey the tax laws of the state. Also, when you’re not taxed you’re still responsible for the local taxes while filing your taxes.
