Yep, I use Deluxe+state. I can't file state until the federal return is accepted. My returns will be over 8000 total thanks to the clean vehicle credit. I've been trying to file since early February. They just keep pushing the date back. I keep waiting b/c I hear you get your refund sooner if you e-file. But they keep pushing back teh date 1 week at a time. Both H&R and TT will ask for a fee if you want to "efile" state income tax return. The reason is that they will have to print a hard copy of your state income tax and mail it in for you. You can do the same for free.

Suggest using a CPA if you need to file for business (at least partnership llc). I think because states don't have digital filing system like federal. Lots of H&R Block deals... but no TurboTax deals. I used H&R two times over the past 10 years and TurboTax 8 times and much prefer TurboTax. Probably doesn't make as much of difference if you have a simple return, but this year is going to be rather complex for me.
