bunch of nonsense....
This is used for boot drive. when you are building a desktop with multiple hard drives. you can use this for boot partition only and put the rest of files on normal non-SSD drive. This will allow most setup to start win 7 or later in under 12 seconds. (from power up to ready.)

I have computers with WIN 7 and Win 10 where I have 120GB SSD used as boot drives. The space is more than enough. I don't know what you are talking about that the SSD of this size is suitable for WinXP only.
