It’s a good deal! No doubt. It also depends on your usage. If you want to use this for entertainment and few other things - excellent laptop. If you want to run heavy workloads, I doubt it can handle.

Comes with a non-user-replaceable EMBEDDED battery. The day the battery dies is the day you have to ship the computer to Lenovo to replace it. I'd never buy a laptop with an "EMBEDDED" battery.

I'm the original poster. I had to replace my laptop battery after about 14 months. The battery was removable and I purchased a new one off of Amazon. Replacement took about 30 seconds. The battery that comes with this low-end Lenovo is listed as having only two cells. The battery that died on me had three cells. If your battery dies, you lose all the portability of your laptop for at least two weeks. Problem with "Embedded" batteries is the same save-a-dollar mentality of using such a system has also infected Dell and likely others. It is a total deal-breaker for me. //@Anonymous: I agree on deal
