I can hardly understand why this is soo popular. Got one last year at walmart for like 230. Yet I still see this as overpriced item. There are some good games but graphics suck.

But switch game prices have increased significantly, and now they have added new features such as membership and in-app purchases，the console is just a gateway or bait to have you spend more! Remember, printers are ridiculously cheap, ink cartridges are crazy expensive!

I was able to get one, my strategy that worked for me was to check bestbuy every 7-10 min throughout the day. they “restock” a limited amount every so often. just make sure your payment info is already filled out on bestbuy.com so you can checkout before it sells out!

They finally did the right thing to restrict the # of unit people can buy and release unit in batches instead all at once. So that more people can get it. Fewer reseller can take advantage now.

You compared your phone with car. You can easily drive your car for 10+ years. Can you do the same for your phone? //@anonymous: That's right. I don't feel my new phone is faster than my last. And I cannot drive my new car faster than my old car. Things are running about the same. It's not the reason for change. This is such a ridiculous remark. There were 4 channels in the previous 16 gb models (4gb*4). Now Apple wants to save money and started using 6 gb unit. So the 18 gb module only has 3 channels (6gb*3). The memory bandwidth is worse then M2 equivalent models. //@anonymous: Triple-channel ram. 3x6gb sticks = 18gb. Comparing RAM number is like comparing gas tank size between a family care and a race car.

When M1 first came out, people reported it still runs smoothly with 400 safari windows open.

Crappy software will beat all the RAMs and CPUs you throw in

Different cars have different gas tank size because they have different MPGs. But a full tank of gas will let you drive similar distances with different cars (excluding hybrids). RAM is completely different, more RAM is always better regardless what computer you have //@anonymous: Comparing RAM number is like comparing gas tank size between a family care and a race car.
