HP is the worst. I had three HP in past few years. All of them were broken on the same reason: display loose connection. Will never bug HP forever!!! //@Anonymous: not a deal, pass!

I agree. Dell is horrible. I was a dell fan for a long time. Dell quality has gone down dramatically. I just hate dell.

I wish they never make computer with celeron anymore. So sluggish compared with atom processor. Should just buy pentium.

The Celeron CPU(N4000) benchmark is only 1460. Even the Celeron in a cheap laptop I bought 9 years ago has score of 1100. You have to add a SSD and do a bit of optimization(OS fresh installation & browser) to get fast response. After that's done, it's still quite usable if surfing the web and text editing are the main tasks. //@Anonymous: I wish they never make computer with celeron anymore. To below comment,

I don't think that you can install SSD as a booting drive. I even not sure you can put the internal SSD into this machine. Anyway, eMMC sucks as a performance perspective.

Mine are both soldered to the mother board, an atom-based and a celeron-based asus 11.6" laptop. eMMC from my tests are as fast as a spinning desktop hard drive, which is a bit faster than a laptop hard drive. An SSD is about 5 times as fast as these eMMCs.
My atom laptop also lasts longer on battery than celeron and than a pentium-based laptop. Pentium is enough for basic computing. I ended up installing linux on the celeron machine and it's no longer acting slow. //@Anonymous: To below comment,

No space on these 11" laptops to install actual 2.5" SSD or HDD. eMMC is soldered to the board. Dell inspiron 11 2-in-1 has an HDD/SSD bay but is more expensive. These are good travel companions. Battery lasts for hours or days if you use lightly. //@Anonymous: The Celeron CPU(N4000) benchmark is only 1460. Even the Celeron in a cheap laptop I bought 9 years ago has score of 1100. I bought this one three weeks ago and similar 15 inch one a month ago - both work great! Did not have one problem with them so far. This is actually 10$ less than what I paid, I think it is a great deal for those specs and touchscreen.

You guys have been deceived. Get back on the wave of text-based computing and you can use machines that are a decade old like they're new. Or even use a GUI desktop from something like a Debian distro and you can still fly with a fairly cheap machine. Windows and Mac are for hypnotized consumers. //@Anonymous: now feel the wrath of 2000 bucks apple phone //@Anonymous: days of $1000 laptop/computers are done... including apple.

This laptop is light but screen quality is very poor: washed out color, blurred... light pressure could cause dead pixels white spot. RAMs and CPU are soldered into motherboard. You cannot upgrade.Body scratches easily. Do not buy. DELL is the best, durable, economical, well designed easy to upgrade, easy to maintain, excellent screen ... lasts for years.
