Because ps4 has games like god of war, days gone, last of us, horizon zero dawn, uncharted etc. Lot of ps4 exclusive games are very good and popular.

Xbox does not, they do have exclusives like gears of wars, halo, which are not very fun.

In another word, Sony has lot of talented game studios and game developers, Microsoft does not. Yes, Xbox X's specs is higher than ps4 pro, but people buying game consoles for the games, not the sepcs //@Anonymous: why ps4 is hot than xbox one?
