That is Apple's trick. For me, 512GB seems to be the minimal disk space I need. After one year of usage, I used about 260GB as a developer. So I will have to pay the $200 for that 256GB. //@Anonymous: $200 for just 256GB

I think Apple realizes people aren't buying iPhones every year. Basically the market is saturated with high-end iPhones that will last 2 to 4 years. This is why their trying to push as many MacBooks as possible.

4GB would be too small for Windows 11. The system would take about 3.5GB, leaving only enough RAM for 4~5 Chrome tabs.
