These phones are PRISTINE and have never been in customer hands. They will arrive with a test sticker showing 100% battery life and inside a sleek custom black box, NOT the original retail packaging. They come with a 1 Year Vendor Warranty, but are NOT AppleCare eligible. //@Anonymous: Pristine is new or not? Why Americans always invent new words to trick ppl?

It takes 12 months to unlock the phone. You don't have to have the Flex Plus plan for a year to unlock the phone. You can only pay for one month of the Flex Plus plan and then wait for 11 months. //@Anonymous: How long is the contract with the Flex Plus plan

Need to port in a number and an at least $50 monthly plan to qualify $99. Phone can be unlocked after 1 year's service. Endup paying $50x12+$99 = $699/year. similar plan in othe carrier with your own device is around $25. You actually pay $25 X 12 + $99 = $399 for the phone andstuck wit i for a year.

seems you wouldn't have to pay for all 12 months of service, though, right? just first month activation? then unlock 1 year later? value of device for future trade in or resell or someone else use on other carrier?
(I'm still trying to find all details to confirm)
if so, $150 for iPhone 14 isn't a bad deal. just can't use on any other carrier for now (1 year) //@Anonymous: Need to port in a number and an at least $50 monthly plan to qualify $99. There is no contract as they are pre-paid, but I have heard they charge a $50 fee if you "downgrade" your plan after taking advantage of a device promotional price. //@Anonymous: How long is the contract with the Flex Plus plan

You can definitely ask for one. This actually is exactly what I use for work. The only thing preventing you from getting one is to lazy to set up a new machine. As for using your own machine for development, that’s not an option. At least in my eight years being a developer, I haven’t stayed in any company allowing me to do development work on my own machine. //@anonymous: But not every company refresh every year //@Anonymous: Who uses MBP for dev work does not have a company provided MBP? //@anonymous: for anyone using MBP for dev work, IMHO this is a good deal.
