Dust collecter bin is the one to get. it makes it a care free robot. Without the bin, you will need to clean up the unit built in bin every run or two. With dust collector bin, it becomes once a month at most. Way more convenient.

What makes this rice cooker $100 more than other type?
Anonymous
Better tasting rice, of course. It also makes the pot very easy to wash. //@Anonymous: What makes this rice cooker $100 more than other type?

Their nonstick coating peels off very soon. And they charge a lot for inner pot only(near$100). Won't purchase this brand again.

Years ago owned a $150 Zojirushi and a friend of mine bought a $400 Cuckoo. I demanded a competition with the rice species I pick (yes, you should know, the rice you buy just as the flour you buy makes a HUGE difference and that's why their prices can differ by 40 times). Let me say this, we brought the rice cookers for tasting. The moment I tasted his rice, I picked up my cheaper Zojirushi and said: the competition is over -- you won. Does it taste 2x better? No. Is a 5-star hotel stay 2x better than a 4-star hotel? //@Anonymous: What makes this rice cooker $100 more than other type?

I have three rice cookers need inner pan replacements. The inner pan costs more than half the original price, which is annoying //@Anonymous: The inner cooking pan need to be replaced soon, cost another $100

Mine was not that expensive about at least 5 years. It’s almost in new shape speaking of the inner pot. If my in law follows my direction, it will be still new. You should dry the outside of the inner pot each time you put it in to cook //@anonymous: Their nonstick coating peels off very soon. And they charge a lot for inner pot only(near$100). That's true. Usually grocery stores increase the price online, around 10%-20$.I think it's commission fee of instantcart or shipt...

This deal is only for those using Instacart. Some ppl may have been using Instacart since February

Yes the instacart price is definitely more than the in-store price. I've checked for multiple stores. But with this deal you'd about break-even (if not gain slightly). Depends on the store.

Agreed with others that with this deal, you break even with the in-store price but that in itself is a big win in terms of convenience. Note that this gift card also applies to sameday.costco.com where Instacart doesn't charge any service or delivery fees, just higher prices (which are offset by this deal).

yeah, but you dont need to drive to the store and spend an hour shopping and waiting in line. So it easily saves me one hour per trip. Also, if you have kids, that makes even more sense. //@Anonymous: That's true. Usually grocery stores increase the price online, around 10%-20$.I think it's commission fee of instantcart or shipt...
