I'm not sure I agree, the benchmarks for the i-7 8700 are alot better than those for the Ryzen 7 2700. If you are really concerned about the 99 bucks, maybe, they are both monsters. :) I have a Dell XPS 8700 that I got in 2013, also for 7 or 800. The integrated graphics card died after about 4 or 5 years. With a $70 replacement, it's still as good as day 1, with heavy use. YMMV. It's an i7-4700, which is enough for my non-gaming needs. //@Anonymous: avoid this brand if you.
