2019 has 10th gen 14nm++++ version, which is only marginal better than this 8.5th gen 14nm+++ bersion. LoL. everything else is same. No HDMI port and thunderbolt3 ports, not even on 2019. If you can live with that, then $499 is no brainer for a secondary travel laptop. //@Anonymous: Bought one. Everything good and works nice, but be aware that this is 2018 model, not 2019
