I had opposite experience, also from Columbia. Very fresh and beautiful. Put in vase and throw in water along with plantfood, good for a few more days. //@Anonymous: not recommended. I ordered it last time in Feb. the rose was sent from Columbia country. 6.5 days for shipping, so when I received it, not fresh any more.
