I bought one 2 weeks ago and immediately returned it because of the smell.

FYI: The product description clearly says that there is a change in fragrance and it is a temporary change to meet the current high demand for hand sanitizers. I didn't feel that it was so awful. Happy to get some after 3-4 months of searching.

Go ahead and buy it then.
