I never had a ps3 because I thought toshiba's hd-dvd was going to win over blu-ray. Sigh... //@anonymous: My ps3 still runs great and plays well. Who need ps4?

No idea perhaps there's a chance SONY could offer a good trade-in deal later for PS5 pro for owners still holding on to their PS4s - that's a long shot.

No point buying PS4 when the new PS5 price not much different.

To each their own. Besides unless you're playing competitive, a good 4k tv upscales PS3/XBOX360 HD well (albeit non-HDR) and motion can interpolate more that 30fps well for most non-intensive/offline games. I still have my XBOX360 and a lot of games still yet to play since 2011. What was I doing all this time? Living a life I guess. //@RoshDrozzley: You've got a ps3? OK millennial. I see no reason to upgrade from my Atari 2600 //@anonymous: My ps3 still runs great and plays well. Who need ps4?

why buy ps4 now? ps5 is coming in a month, and it is backward compatible.
