I only see gold plan or above requirement for Walmart+ included.
Not seeing any plan restrictions for activating with $100 off purchase in store only.

Do you have to come to the Walmart store on 11/6/2023 to buy the phone in order to get the price of $49 ? Or Can you buy the phone online for $49 and activate it online immediately?

Can I pay for a month of service, use the phone in the US for a few days, and bring it to my friend who lives overseas within 2 months? Will it still automatically unlock after 60 days when the phone is not in the US?

Seems Verizon purchased straight talk
If all new purchases get activated on Verizon, will unlock 60 days after activation. Must activate in store for $49 price.

Seems only 1 month of activated service required ($85ish)
Then unlock after 60 days.

Check SIM card to see which carrier.
Walmart return policy says unopened phones can be returned within 14 days, but opened phones can only be exchanged.
