Bose speakers work well. It's the price point that gets some people's panties in a tangle. At the retail price the value is not very compelling. On sale they are a good value. These were on sale for $69 from Dell about 6-8mths ago. This price is decent. I have a pair and they sound good for simple speakers with a small form factor. Don't let the other haters influence you. If they are on sale they can be a good value.

BOSE = Buy other sound equipment

Buy these with confidence. I had multiple pairs 4 pairs over the last twenty years. Very satisfied.
