If 256G was not a single module like M1 Air, this is a great choice, but since it is not, go either m1 air or m1 pro, depending on your needs. I got both, one for my daughter and one for me, and yes, I tried M2 256G and M2 512G, but the former is slow, the latter is too expensive compared to its capability.

Now, as you know, apple chips are not getting much better, partly because of lack of good engineers and the slow improvement over the 3/4nm node. So... getting M1 pro instead may be a better idea.

Previous gen M1 processors are a better value and should be more than sufficient for 70-80% of all users. If anything, Apple has bad marketing. No professional user is going to buy the MB with low specs, and no average user is going to spend $1.2K+ on it either. They should have significantly lowered the price, or not have an option with 8GB RAM/256GB storage.

1), M1 is super fast with no heat. 2), Mac is very efficient in using memory. I am a programmer converted from PC to MAC ~ 10 years ago, never look back. Of course, I bought a MacBook Pro, but I got a M1 MacBook Air for my son, he is very happy about it.

Your computer RAM is essentially short term memory where data is stored as the processor needs it. The price was $449 after price-match and there is 5% in-store Cashback from third party Cashback website, plus credit card has 10% back up to $25 offer (chase). Combined almost $100 off. The main catch of Grado is it’s really uncomfortable… as a wireless headphone sound quality doesn’t really matter that much, comfort is king. Apple sound quality is at least better than Beats but it’s indeed overpriced.

Yeah the refillable ink concept is great, but the print head often become dirty and need to be deep cleaned, around every 3 months or so, the process which expends 1/4 of the ink each time, also the waste ink goes to a "maintenance box" that needs to be replaced with a new one.

You don't have to pay to use Windows. Anyone can download the installer and install it. You lose features, but it is still free. Most people get Windows included free with purchased machines. True. Mine kept blocking the ink if I don't use it often. The color becomes pink so I have to do power cleaning which wastes a lot of ink. This printer starts having issues after 1.5 years. Setup a free KMS server(open sourced, you can run it in docker), and activate your copy of Windows with M$ purposely 'leaked' volume keys, you get a full functioning Windows for free(need to reactivate it automatically against the KMS server every 120 days). Don't feel guilty, you trade your privacy with the free use (as long as you don't use it for commercial purpose), M$ knows it, and allows it. M$ wants your big data.

While there is a cost aspect of it, there are not that many monitors comparable in quality to this at this price. Dell U4021QW ultrasharp is closest at a $300 cheaper ticket but its nowhere close to this quality on color gamut or brightness not to mention the lack of camera or speakers. The closest is the LG 5K ultrafine but it is of the same price as of today $1299 and its speakers are not upto sample - I have this monitor as well and I know. I am not trying to sell this monitor but slinging mud should be based on facts IMHO.

It's crazy small for the price, but when you're a professional photographer (on the smaller side) and try editing on an Asus ProArt monitor, the Apple Studio Display is simply the best at color representation. Get an Apple Card and pay monthly using the EDU site for the discount.

There’s now literally little value in buying an Xbox IF you have a very good gaming PC. Most if not all Xbox (and non exclusive PS) titles will go to PC per Microsoft’s Phil Spencer. Even PlayStation is slowly starting to go that route; the value of that PS5 hardware is now questionable with its PS NOW going to PC with 90% Sony exclusives being there already and most will appear some day.

Long story short, if you have a PC, you’ll still be in business without any console whatsoever. Xbox is almost redundant in that case, but PlayStation may still hold value as your single console for couch gaming.

Just my opinion.

Agreed, I have an Xbox one, and I have no substantial issues with the ux, I do find it annoying when I try to prioritize the order of my downloads, but its a minor and occasional annoyance. Replacing a PS3 or PS4 hard drive is so easy that you only need to take out 1 or 2 screws. Replacing a Xbox hard drive or doing any upgrade is so difficult. I just don't like the way they design it and made it so freakin hard to made any future hardware changes. And please, I am not a spam robot.

I switched to an android after the iPhone 4 came out and never looked back at iOS. However now my work requires an iOS device to run company apps. I could've just switched back to an iPhone but I just can't stand it anymore. I would take this if it’s 24” or smaller. Nobody wants a 27” monitor with FHD. You can soon lose your eyesight for reading blurry fonts on a big screen (27”+) that is QHD or higher.

Dude! Have you ever read anything on a 27" FHD monitor? Or compare how fonts look like between 27" FHD and 27" FHD. While it doesn't make much difference for 24" between FHD and QHD because you dont really need QHD on 24", but that extra 3" space make a huge difference. Fonts should be solid and black on 27" QHD but will appear lighter and fading on 27" FHD. I don't get it, why people rant when they dont know jack?? //@anonymous: Yup. Still some people think resolution means quality (and clarity) it would appear. New screen technologies have been developed since UHD. Not even all UHD are the same so don’t quite get this comparison of FHD vs UHD. //@anonymous: Dude, no. This is good for people with bad eyesight. Fonts are large and in charge. I'm not saying it doesn't look ridiculous, but it has the opposite effect of what you're saying. //@Anonymous: I would take this if it’s 24” or smaller. Nobody wants a 27” monitor with FHD. Guys, there is a reason why FHD 27" are so cheap compare to FHD 23 or 24". While FHD 23-24" is acceptable but FHD 27" is horrific. Only novice users would buy FHD 27". Please goto Best Buy and bring up Wikipedia on a Web Browser and see the difference between FHD 23/24", FHD 27", and QHD 27".
