i bought three 4tb and two 2tb of them as a photographer, i fill them on a daily basis....2tb are dead, didnt even make it 6 months, before files went missing or corrupt. two of the 4tb developed same issues just took 9-10 months....sandisk replaced them all, and i sold the new ones they sent me. changed over to a usb-c nvme enclosure and nvme drives, no issues. //@Anonymous: Just because most people bought 2TB version. micro center is my first store choice, if there's one around you, esp in NJ, they somehow got down the tax to 3.5% in the garden state, while state tax around double that. Last time, I was checking a Mac mini, micro center got nice promotions like 150 off, and with the tax save makes it even sweeter. Not avaialbe in NY on the special tax save.
