Add 4k and IPS then the price is at least doubled. Curved always adds an extra cost too. Anything 27-32+ should consider 4k just for that PPI.

Those are gonna be some big pixels. An odd resolution for that screen size. Not bad for gaming I guess.

I would take this if it’s 24” or smaller. Nobody wants a 27” monitor with FHD. You can soon lose your eyesight for reading blurry fonts on a big screen (27”+) that is QHD or higher.

Dude, no. This is good for people with bad eyesight. Fonts are large and in charge. I'm not saying it doesn't look ridiculous, but it has the opposite effect of what you're saying. //@Anonymous: I would take this if it’s 24” or smaller. Nobody wants a 27” monitor with FHD. Yup. Still some people think resolution means quality (and clarity) it would appear. New screen technologies have been developed since UHD. Not even all UHD are the same so don’t quite get this comparison of FHD vs UHD. //@anonymous: Dude, no. This is good for people with bad eyesight. Fonts are large and in charge. Dude! Have you ever read anything on a 27" FHD monitor? Or compare how fonts look like between 27" FHD and 27" FHD. While it doesn't make much difference for 24" between FHD and QHD because you dont really need QHD on 24", but that extra 3" space make a huge difference. Fonts should be solid and black on 27" QHD but will appear lighter and fading on 27" FHD. I don't get it, why people rant when they dont know jack?? //@anonymous: Yup. Guys, there is a reason why FHD 27" are so cheap compare to FHD 23 or 24". While FHD 23-24" is acceptable but FHD 27" is horrific. Only novice users would buy FHD 27". Please goto Best Buy and bring up Wikipedia on a Web Browser and see the difference between FHD 23/24", FHD 27", and QHD 27". For the 13 y/o who doesn’t read, please go post your comment on TikTok because you are not contributing here.

1080 is good for up to 24”, it’s horrible for 27” unless you never read text on the monitor. You need at least 1440 QHD on 27. //@anonymous: Bestbuy has 27inch for the same price //@Anonymous: Good deal?

remember, FHD = Full HD = its only 1080p.
and yes for 27', highly recommend 1440 or 2160 (4K). the price wasn't much different. Go do your research for 1440. you wont regret it to upgrade to UHD (1440) instead of just stick to FHD (1080p) cuz its cheap. If you use the monitor on daily basis, invest better ones. Long usage help your eyes as well.

Regular price was $119, then $129, $134, and now $145 and call it a deal? Go back to $109 and we got a deal for HP’s lowest priced monitor.

MSRP is $119. The pandemic is overall. It’s a budget but flimsy monitor but definitely beat any competition at $119. However, anything >= $119 is no deal.

Why are these so expensive? It is essentially a printer.

Market share? Fewer people buy these, I assume, which means lower demand to defray overhead. Also, I suspect the ink/toner is of a different, more expensive composition to account for the use, and the mechanisms must handle heavier media. Kind of makes sense to me, though I am no expert in ANY OF THESE FIELDS... //@Anonymous: Why are these so expensive? It is essentially a printer.

all label printers use thermal transfer technology, no ink/toner consumption at all, the thermal transfer has the advantage of low consumable cost and fast printing, but the downside is considerably low printing resolution. And the thermal mechanism dominated most of its cost. This dual printer model should be used in a fast pace environment like takeout counter to double printer efficiency and at this price point, this one is unbeatable //@Anonymous: Market share?
